Who is the SIBOA
This organization was founded on November 24, 1992 by several local officials who wanted to meet monthly to work to improve their officiating skills. The original board of directors was the late G. Scott Jones, the late Michael Haukap, Randy Hart, and Robert “Spanky” Smith. The purpose of the organization is to develop and maintain excellent basketball officiating through careful study of the rules, officiating mechanics, and techniques and to foster close personal fellowship among its members.
